| "We were especially pleased with their communication and
listening skills, their problem - solving abilities, and their
congenial personalities. When Janie and Barrie guided us through
the sale and purchase of our homes, we felt as if they worked
exclusively for us."
-John and Magali Walrath
|We've been living and operating businesses in Tucson since 1975. We came from New York City and chose to move here to enjoy the sunshine, big sky and majestic mountains! Living in Tucson has been the best decision we've ever made. The people are friendly, art and culture are plentiful, the lifestyle is easy, and the diverse natural beauty is unsurpassed!
We have been blessed with twin daughters, and we can tell you from first hand experience that Tucson is a wonderful place to raise a family!
We have a love of the arts and have always been active in our community. Barrie is President of the Southern Arizona Green Chamber of Commerce, a supporting member of Greater Tucson Leadership class of 1982, and was President of the Alumni Association in 1986. He has received two Copper Letters from Tucson's Mayors Volge and Miller, for his never ending volunteer efforts in recycling and waste reduction. He started and operated the Arizona Waste Exchange, which kept tons of industrial waste out of our landfills. Barrie is a Mediator and a Past President of the Board of "Our Family", a community service organization that helps families, and especially, children. In addition, he volunteers with our local MLS, currently is vice-chair of the Green Committee of the Tucson Association of Realtors, is a member of the Arizona Association of Realtor's Professional Standards and Ethics committee and is an Ombudsman. Janie volunteered for the Family and Faculty Association and sports teams, from their children's kindergarten through high school years. We are pleased to make a donation from every sale to the Long Realty Cares Foundation, as well as numerous local, well deserving community charities.
We've been involved in Real Estate since 1979, and have come to know most every nook and cranny in this town! We take great personal pleasure in helping people relocate here and find their new homes. Continuing education is very important to us, and we have earned the designations and/or certifications of:
Buying and selling a home is one of the biggest events in your life. Although we are in the top 2% of Realtors Nationally, based on production, it is our personal integrity, experience and enthusiasm that make us a great choice to be your Tucson Realtors. We hope to hear from you!
